Arlington Police Association PAC

Former Mayor OdomMichael Glaspie, City Council Candidate District 8, is the best qualified candidate I have ever known. He is one of the very few candidates or public servants who has put on an army combat uniform and served on foreign soil to protect our freedoms. He prepared himself educationally with several advanced degrees. He also had a successful 21-year career in marketing with IBM.
Michael has been busy in the community, having served on more than 15 city and five county boards and committees. He was elected to the Arlington ISD Board of Trustees in 1991, and served admirably as President, vice president and secretary/treasurer.
Michael has set the example for wholesome family living, having been married to Janice for 40 years. They have raised three wonderful children, now adults who are contributing to our society. Michael Glaspie is the kind of leader to set a positive example for our children.
The lack of diversity on the City Council has been mentioned repeatedly and the election of Michael Glaspie would be a much needed step toward improvement in this area. We certainly could never find a more qualified candidate. Please, for the sake of Arlington, elect Michael Glaspie, District 8, Arlington City Council.

-Elzie D. Odom Former Mayor, City of Arlington 1997-2003

Billie-Farrar-300x225I proudly support Michael Glaspie for Arlington City Council, Place 8. His service as a combat veteran in Vietnam, marketing manager with IBM, and as a trustee of Arlington Memorial Hospital and Arlington ISD, reflects a record of accomplishment that uniquely qualifies him to represent the citizens of Arlington.

Billie Farrar, Business Leader

I have served with Michael Glaspie on the boards of the Arlington Chamber, Arlington Memorial Hospital and Champion Arlington. His steady and thorough approach to problem solving is admirable. Michael has proven his ability to lead while serving as president of the Arlington ISD Board of Trustees. Our student population increased 50 percent, yet our community rallied to pay for new schools and other facilities to manage that growth. I urge you to join me in voting for Michael Glaspie for Arlington City Council.

PamRoachMichael Glaspie is the right choice for Arlington City Council District 8! His lifetime of business, civic, educational and military experience embodies the leadership attributes needed to continue Arlington’s future growth and prosperity. Not only that, his involvement throughout Arlington has already impacted current and future generations. He served nearly two decades on Arlington ISD’s Board of Trustees making sure thousands of students were educated, moved on to careers and are now giving back to their community. As we progress forward, it is imperative for Arlington’s diverse population of youth and families to see City Council members who reflect the City’s core values of embracing diversity and inclusion. Michael Glaspie is Arlington. Please cast your vote for him on May 09, 2015.
